Exhibiting My Greetings Cards at ART Fabrik

Art Fabrik Greetings Cards Isabell Schulz

I know my regularity with posting blog posts has been a bit off these past 2 weeks. I have a good excuse though, last week I went to Art Basel and this week I was busy working on our house in the south of France. I also had to take a well-deserved break at the beach, obviously.

Another major event that happened on Thursday is the latest ART Fabrik vernissage.

It’s happening! I’m part of the second exhibition @art_fabrik_ #lequotidiendespetitsriens

I am part of the second exhibition at the ART Fabrik gallery and it’s well exciting! The topic is Le Quotidien des Petits Riens, which translates roughly to The Everyday Life of Small Things. If you are in the area, do come and pop by. It’s open from Friday to Sunday between 5pm and 8pm in Fitou, France.

I had no idea what to expect and was a bit nervous, but mostly excited to see if anyone (someone, really, besides family!) would like my greetings cards. I have been making these for years for friends and family, though it is different if you get feedback from a complete stranger.

There has been a clear favourite, which is this fuzzy owl.

It is really helpful to get any kind of feedback and I will be incorporating some of it and make some changes. I’ll also be continuing working on new animals to add to my little collection. It feels so incredible when people invest in the things you make and are proud of.

Before the exhibition, I also changed my paper to recyclable paper for both the kraft and white paper, including the envelopes, which is important to me.

I have added all the latest additions also to my online shop, if you want to check them out.
